BIOGRAPHY

Photographer passionate about birds, he is a native of Lima, Peru.
Owner partner of the Fundo Alto Nieva Reserve, in the Bosque de Proteccion Alto Mayo, Northern Peru.
He studied Electronic Engineering, Software Programming and GIS.
He shares his time between traveling through Peru and the "Fundo Alto Nieva" Reserve, which he manages. He has created a photographic collection of the birds of Peru, especially the endemic and rare birds to observe and has specialized in the hummingbirds of Peru.
He is the founding Manager of Guiacalles, a company dedicated to GPS and GIS technology.
In 2011, he started the private conservation project called "Fundo Alto Nieva", voluntarily reforesting 81 hectares in the Cloud & Elfin Forest.
He currently works at Perubirds Photo Tours, and organizes and guides bird photography expeditions and workshops in Peru.
Also, through his website Perubirds.org, he disseminates the variety of birds and conservation places and where to find them in Peru.

BIOGRAFIA

Fotógrafo apasionado por las aves, es natural de Lima.
Socio propietario del Fundo Alto Nieva, en el Bosque del Alto Mayo, Norte del Perú.
Estudió Ingeniería Electronica, Programación de Sistemas y GIS.
Comparte su tiempo entre los viajes por el Perú y la Reserva "Fundo Alto Nieva", que la administra. Ha creado una colección fotográfica de las aves del Perú, especialmente de las aves endémicas y poco frecuentes de observar y se ha especializado en los colibries del Perú.
Es Gerente fundador de Guiacalles, empresa dedicada a la tecnología GPS y GIS.
El año 2011, inició el proyecto privado de conservación llamado "Fundo Alto Nieva", reforestando en forma voluntaria 81 hectáreas en el Bosque Enano.
Actualmente dirige Perubirds Photo Tours, y organiza y realiza expediciones y talleres de fotografía de aves en el Perú.
Tambien ha creado la página web Perubirds.org, que difunde los diversos emprendimientos y lugares de conservación y ecoturismo en Perú.
