Tours / Bird photography tour to Flor de Cafe, Peru
Join this pioneering expedition to a region recently designated a biodiversity hotspot. We'll venture into one of the country's hottest ornithological areas,
seeking to capture extraordinary images of the rarest, most endemic, and least-photographed birds.
Itinerary
In this remote place, we will find beautiful endemic and rare birds in the countryside, and with our help, we will get the best photographs.
We will use a special all-terrain vehicle to reach the village and to explore the surrounding area.
Some of these birds are: Scarlet-banded Barbet, Versicolored Barbet (Blue-cowled), Cordillera Azul Antbird, Scarlet-breasted Fruiteater, Scaled Fruiteater, Foothill Schiffornis, Yungas manakin, Green-throated Tanager.

- This tour has a flexible start date. We will coordinate with you to determine a suitable date for the trip.
- Recommended group size: three to four photographers.
- We have carefully chosen the route to go exactly where the birds are and we know the right time for photography.
- Accommodation: basic.
- Private transport in a van and a special 4x4 vehicle.
- The recommended duration for this trip is 2 to 4 days.
- Some paths are accessible by vehicle and other paths are of medium difficulty.
